Cleaning Weave
Has your wig been tricky and difficult to manage? This article is suitable for those who wear wigs often because they do not pay attention to the maintenance of wigs. Over time, the emergence of natural oil scalp is a very common problem.

The better the quality of your wigs, the more attention you have to take care of them, the longer they will last, but this will not protect them from the inevitable deterioration over time.

All wigs of black women of all qualities, brands and origins will change throughout the process of wearing them, but they can be restored with proper care to restore their manageability and appearance.

If your lace wigs are looking tired, you can help bring them back to life with a few quick and easy steps.

Step 1: Pre wash

Raw hair is conditioned throughout its length by using a natural oil such as coconut oil, extra virgin olive oil or grape seed oil. Or, apply a moisturizing conditioner to your hair. Leave oil or conditioner on your hair for 30 minutes.

Step 2: Clean and moisturize your wig

Wash your hair with moisturizing shampoo. Carefully clean the scalp between the tracks with your fingers and rinse thoroughly.
Apply moisturizing conditioner to the hair on the scalp and apply additional conditioner. Allow the conditioner to stand for 2 to 5 minutes and rinse thoroughly. When rinsing, carefully remove any tangles in the braid with your fingers or comb.

Step 3: Adjust your wig

Use deep conditioner for 15 minutes or longer. Wear a shower cap to absorb heat, help with conditioning or sit under the dryer. Once conditioned, rinse thoroughly, undo it with your fingers and squeeze out excess water.
Apply moisturizer along the entire length and apply other products at the end. During the styling process, a dime-sized hot product is also applied to protect the hair.

Step 4: Dry your wig

Use a comb to dry the hair at a low temperature to help dry the hair. Straighten with a brush.
The style is made of flat iron and is suitable for straight hair or curly iron and curls. Work backwards from the head until the entire head is completed.

Step 5: When you sleep

Wrap a silk or satin scarf around your head at night to prevent the hair on the cotton pillowcase and sheets from drying out. Alternatively, use silk or satin pillowcases and sheets.
